Your Dentist
Dr. Gillespie is a graduate of St Ambrose College in Davenport. He taught HS chemistry and physics for 2 years before returning to school for his doctorate in dentistry on an HR2 scholarship, serving for 3 years in the Army Dental Corp after graduation—stationed in Germany. He returned stateside to Ottumwa in 1977, and has raised four children here in this great little city.
Dennis M Gillespie DDS is a lifetime member of the American Dental Association and the Iowa Dental Association. He has received a certificate of appreciation for his service as chairman of the provider review committee for the Iowa Board of Dental Examiners for 9 years. He is a Paul Harris Fellow of the Ottumwa Rotary club and an advisory committee member for the Indian Hills CC dental assisting and dental hygiene programs.

Our patient operatory rooms are all equipped with computers and patient screens so that our staff can show you your digital X-rays and intraoral digital photographs during the explanation of your care.
